Video Project: TIME 5'5 sec

In cooperation with
Reinhold Lamprecht a 22' video installation in Dolby surround sound version is created.
9 films (interviews about TIME) are running simultaneously on screens transposed as block dissolution (pixel).
Each person's statements about time is changing with the background sounds of the surrounding locations. This results in a continuous changing picture based on 9 pixel screens in film and sound.

Further are produced:
55 limited DVDs and
18 Digital Shot Panels
100 x 28 cm (39.37 x 11.02 in)

In Zusammenarbeit mit
Reinhold Lamprecht entsteht eine 22' Video Installation in Dolby Surround Ton Version.
9 Filme (Interviews über ZEIT) laufen gleichzeitig auf einem Bildschirm als Blockauflösung (Pixel) umgesetzt.
Die Statements über Zeit der einzelnen Personen wechseln sich mit den jeweiligen Geräuschen der umliegenden Locations ab. Es entsteht ein sich immer wieder verändertes Bild aus 9 Pixelfeldern in Film und Ton umgesetzt.

Weiterhin werden produziert:

In relationship to first studies of the video installation about time, the Stripe Series are created:
coloured stripes reminding emotions and influences about time. Realised on wooden panels by the sizes

TIME PANELS are exhibited in June 2002. In is context the book
TIME PANELS UDOREIN is presented by WERTSTATT Verlag Munich including 25 signed art works with continuous Nr. #

Photo collages and collages like

with oil and acrylic on 100 x 100 cm (39.37 x 39.37 in) panels are created towards the end of the year.

Im Zusammenhang mit ersten Vorarbeiten zur Umsetzung der Video Installation über Zeit entstehen die Stripe Series:
Farbstreifen in Anlehnung an Stimmungen und Einflüsse über ZEIT. Realisiert auf Holzpanels in den Formaten

60 x 60 cm (23.62 x 23.62 in)

TIME PANELS werden in Juni 2002 ausgestellt. In diesem Rahmen erscheint das Buch
TIME PANELS UDOREIN im WERTSTATT Verlag München mit 25 signierten Arbeiten und fortlaufender Nr. #

Fotocollagen und Collagen wie
PD343 Time Pool IBIZA mit Öl und Acryl auf 100 x 100 cm
(39.37 x 39.37 in) Panels entstehen zum Jahresende.

2001 - 2002

During these years the artist signs as "udorein" with an own barcode program. This barcode contains text, title and the art's year of origin.

The Colours Serie is worked out. Photo Works of the artist are dissolved in pixels and painted on canvas in squares by 5 x 5 cm (1.96 x 1.96 in) in oil, acrylic and collage.
All paintings use "CD" for Colours Deutschland, the continuous Nr. #, then "time colours", the art work's title and the amount of pixels.

The theme TIME plays s an important roll in all art works of udOreiN. He creates wood panels by the size of 160 x 60 x 6 cm (62.99 x 23.62 in).

2001 - 2002

In diesen Jahren signiert der Künstler als "udorein" mit eigenem Barcode-Programm. Dieser Barcode enthällt Text, Titel und Entstehungsjahr der Arbeit.

Die Colours Serie wird ausgearbeitet. Fotoarbeiten des Künstlers werden in Pixel aufgelöst und auf Leinwand in 5 x 5 cm (1.96 x 1.96 in) Quadrate in Öl, Acryl und Collage umgesetzt.
Alle Arbeiten enthalten "CD" für Colours Deutschland, die fortlaufende Nr. #, danach "time colours", den titel der Arbeit und die Anzahl der Pixel.

Das Thema TIME spielt in allen Arbeiten von udOreiN eine grosse Rolle. Es entstehen Holzpanels in den Formaten 160 x 60 x 6 cm (62.99 x 23.62 in).

2000 - 2001

All art is signed as "ReDo" and "Udo Rein".

First Photo shots in black/white, colour and different techniques. For the first time the art works are on wood with TIME magazines and their editorial integration as image and text on these panels. All art has "PD" for Panel Germany and a serial-Nr. #.
It's signed with barcode from collected products of our shopping society. Wooden panels in classical size 50 x 50 cm (19,68x19,68 in) in birch-tree or spruce are 6 cm deep and 2,5 cm thick.

2000 - 2001

Die Arbeiten sind signiert als "ReDo" und "Udo Rein".

Erste Fotoshots in schwarz/weis, Farbe und verschiedenen Techniken. Die Arbeiten sind erstmals auf Holz in Vebindung mit TIME Magazinen und deren redaktioneller Verarbeitung als Bild und Text auf den Panels.
Alle Arbeiten haben "PD" für Panel Deutschland und eine Folge-Nr. #.
Signiert wird mit Barcode aus gesammelten Konsumprodukten unserer Überflussgesellschaft. Holzpanels vom klasssichen Format 50 x 50 cm (19,68x19,68 in) in Birke und Fichte sind 6 cm tief und 2,5 cm stark.
